Kill Train Kill (2023) is a high intensity action thriller from India written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt. Set on a late-night train bound for New Delhi, the film tells the thrilling story of two specially trained commando fighters who are unexpectedly attacked by a well-organized and well-armed gang of bandits during a seemingly ordinary journey.
The movie has a tight main line and a sense of crisis throughout. The protagonist Amrit (played by Laksh Lalwani) is traveling with his comrades in a night train that is scheduled to go to New Delhi on a mission when their train is hijacked by a raging gang of bandits. The bandit gang is ambitious and not only hijacks the passengers but also tries to take bloody control of the entire train. As the only character with a military background and combat skills, Amrit is forced to step forward and fight to the death.
The entire movie is tightly paced, full of tension and every fight is visually stunning. Director Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt adopts a realistic fighting style with realistic sound effects to bring the reality of fighting in a high-pressure environment to the audience. In addition, the immersive experience of the audience is enhanced by creating a sense of suffocation through the confined space of the train from which there is nowhere to escape.
