The story centers around legendary thief Zhang Bojun (Chen Bo Lin), the head of the most mysterious and efficient theft syndicate in the Chinese world, who leads a team that meticulously plans and executes the largest bank theft in Taiwan's history - one billion yuan - on New Year's Eve. The team's top make-up artist "Uncle Bin" (Li Mingzhong), hacking genius "Xiao Gao" (Tsai Fanxi), and powerhouse "Wen Hao" (Lin Zhexi) work closely together to make the operation nearly perfect. The action is almost perfect.
However, things do not go as they expect. After the seamless burglary, they are unexpectedly betrayed by a blackmailer and the situation changes abruptly. What's more shocking is that Zhang Bojun's ex-girlfriend, Shen Shuchen (Cai Siyun), is also involved in this fiasco. In order to prevent Shen Shuwen from being victimized, Zhang Bojun decides to turn the tables and embarks on an almost impossible mission - "pay back the money".
From "easy to rob money" to "difficult to return money", the movie shows an anti-cliché way to show the battle of theft, the "thieves team" once again join hands to challenge the difficult task, and the mechanism is exhausted. The "team of thieves" joins hands again to challenge the difficult task and make every effort to remedy their mistakes and change their destiny. This is not only a suspenseful crime story with many twists and turns, but also an exploration of responsibility, emotion and choice.
