Synopsis

Doraemon: Nobita's Art World Tales Movie Plot Summary: This 2025 Japanese animated film, Doraemon: Nobita's Art World Tales (originally titled Screenplay ドラえもん のび 太の絵世界物語, English Doraemon: Nobita's Art World Tales), is the 44th installment in the Doraemon series. The theatrical version, directed by Yukiyo Teramoto and written by Kōshi Itō, celebrates the series' 45th anniversary. The 105-minute film premiered in Japan on March 7, 2025, and was released in China on May 31, 2025, starring Aoi Mizuta Yamauchi, Emi Ohara, and Misaki Wadada. The story is a blend of adventure, fantasy and childlike innocence, and is popular with family audiences.

Nobita struggles with his summer painting assignment and accidentally obtains fragments of a famous painting worth billions of yen. Using a secret prop, Doraemon takes Nobita, Shizuka, Tubby and Kio into the world of the painting and meets a mysterious girl, Correia (voiced by Misaki Wadata). At her request, the group travels to the medieval European-style Duchy of Artoria in search of the "Artorian Blue" gemstone, which contains mysterious powers. In the course of their adventure, they discover that the gemstone is related to the legend of "The Destruction of the World" and face a great crisis. Nobita and his friends use their wits and props to unravel the mystery of Kolya's life, fight against powerful enemies, and save the world in the painting.
