Synopsis
A Quiet Place: Day One, a new installment in the Silent Universe series, is a prequel that reveals the catastrophic day when monsters first descended upon the Earth. This horror-thriller and sci-fi film takes viewers back to the beginning of the apocalypse through a tense, breathtaking atmosphere and shocking narrative pace, and features a life-or-death escape in the city that never sleeps.
The story takes place on the first day of the disaster, people have not yet realized the deadly threat of these alien monsters with their super hearing "voice recognition", and most people have not yet mastered the "silent survival rule". When thousands of these monsters suddenly descend from the sky, a global crisis is triggered and New York, a world-class city, falls to its fate. The subway, shopping malls, streets and other daily scenes are turned into death traps overnight, and the city goes from bustling and noisy to deathly silent.
