## Episode Description
Back Home is a Hong Kong horror film directed and written by Tse Ka Kee, which blends elements of folk ghosts and real-life trauma to create a chilling viewing experience for the audience. The protagonist of the movie, Xiang Rong (played by Kong Kwan Sang), has been blessed with yin and yang eyes since he was a child, and is able to see psychic phenomena invisible to ordinary people. However, this ability has brought him endless troubles and rejection, alienated by his friends and long suppressed inside. As an adult, he chooses to emigrate to Canada in the hope of escaping from the shadow and leading a new ordinary life.

Fate has not been kind to Xiang Rong, who is forced to return to his former home in Hong Kong, which he has not visited for many years, after receiving news of his mother's (Bai Ling) mysterious "suicide attempt". The familiar building is now filled with an eerie atmosphere. The neighbors speak and act strangely, especially the mysterious old couple played by Tai Po and Tam Yuk Ying. Their words are vague and their attitude is mysterious, as if they are hiding a shocking secret. What's even more creepy is the strange banging and whispering noises that come from the upper floors in the middle of the night.

Driven by curiosity and uneasiness, Xiang Rong decides to go upstairs to find out the truth, and thus embarks on a series of horrifying experiences between reality and fantasy. The strange images that emerge in the house, the dark shadows, the whispers on the wall, and his mother's bizarre behavior all reveal the childhood shadows and family secrets that he has never faced before. The movie is interspersed with a lot of cultural details of the "Ghost Moon", such as door sealing talismans, plutonium coins, Zhong Kui talismans, etc., which give the story a more local flavor and sense of immersion.

Returning in July uses psychological thriller and family tragedy to weave a touching and eerie tale that hides, underneath the horror wrapper, the protagonist's deep-seated exploration of family, the past and redemption.
