From director Rao Xiaozhi and starring Zhang Yu and Ren Sushi, "The Man with No Name: No Way Out" is a Chinese-language film that blends crime, action and dark humor.
Set on the streets of Bangkok, the movie tells the story of a seemingly absurd but tension-filled encounter. Chen Sanjin (Zhang Yu) is a "scumbag" who has repeatedly failed in his relationships, while Xue Fangmei (Ren Sushi) is a "ruthless woman" with a strong character who dares to love and hate. In the process of breaking up and quarrelling, the two are accidentally involved in a transnational crime syndicate's kidnapping case and become one of the hostages taken.
