Synopsis

Based on the novel of the same name by Japanese author Liao Asai, Masayoku (2023) is directed by Yoshiyuki Kishi and stars Goro Inagaki and Yuki Arakaki. The movie follows the life and family struggles of prosecutor Keiki Terai (Goro Inagaki). Keiki Terai cares deeply for his son, who is worried that his child will be disconnected from society because he doesn't want to go to elementary school. The movie explores the contradictions and warmth of the modern family and parent-child relationship from a father's point of view.

Another story line revolves around shopping center employee Natsuki Kiryu (Yuki Shinkaki). She hides a special sexual fetish in her life, and her encounter with Keiki Terai is full of chance.
